Since we all have such a soft spot for Michael Moore, we should all send him our condolences if his (almost) worst nightmare comes to life--a conservative government in Canada!
Honestly, I'm so glad he speaks up to tell us what's bugging him. How much the better to crank up the heat on America's number 1 buffoon.

"Oh, Canada -- you're not really going to elect a Conservative majority on Monday, are you? That's a joke, right? I know you have a great sense of humor, ... but this is no longer funny," Moore complained in a commentary on his website...Hey Canada! Finish him off please! I know my interference in your affairs should have a better reason than my own selfish glee at Moore's anguish, but we need to start somewhere I guess.
In "Bowling for Columbine," his documentary on gun violence in the United States, Moore heads north to Canada to flee the rise of conservatism on US soil.
"A man running the nation to the south of you is hoping you can lend him a hand by picking Stephen Harper, because he's a man who shares his world view. Do you want to help George Bush by turning Canada into his latest conquest?" Moore asked.

Anyone who starts off with "Oh, Canada..." deserves to be in anguish. Next he'll be pulling out the "eh?" deal too. Oh, how terribly funny. Key word-part being terrible. Funny, funny American.
hehe. I'm glad a Canadian is saying it! I sometimes think I've been following Canadian politics more than the average Canadian--you aren't average though Joshua!
So I had to go read the article...and catch up on the CA election (CA as in Canada, not Cali) since Texas doesn't really have the breaking headlines. Fav Excerpts from Moore's "letter":
"...but I just couldn't sit by, as your friend, and say nothing..."
Man, with friends like this, no wonder Canada doesn't have enemies!
"Do you want to help George Bush by turning Canada into his latest conquest? Is that how you want millions of us down here to see you from now on?"
To be honest, we really don't care how you millions view us. In spite of your belief Mr. Moore that we should care - we don't. We're going to do what makes the most sense for Canada, not Michael. And to be blunt, Bush has very little to do with it.
