Back to life
If I could excuse myself for the absence by blaming my sick computer, I would. But the truth is, I had trouble getting back to this venue even before he was put on the disabled list.
I do have several bits of good news to start with. First, the Dell Organ Donor program has come through and Toby's new organs (mother board, hard drive, CD/DVD drive) are soon to be scheduled for arrival and installation. Next, unless I run into some unforeseen red-tape, I will be starting a reporting internship at the Lynden Tribune in about two week's time. This will hopefully inspire a plethora of new material here on the Meneltarma. Mind you, I just mean that I am not usually capable of much written exertion when my job dictates I start beating myself up (see jaw episode in higher post) at 4 in the morning. Who has anything to write about in such a situation?

Yeah! He lives! Congratulations on the internship Mark. That is such great news and it's been a long time in the making so I am very happy for you. I still have your little truck gift, I must try and meet up with you one day soon. Are you still working the strange shift? If so I could swing by on one of my forays out and about.
